Artist Statement:
"My personal favorite Spirit Shadows photograph. From the camera, I can't see anything in the shot. It takes about 45 minutes to create all the characters on the tombstones. Then I spend an additional 45 minutes sitting next to the camera continuing the exposure to allow enough time for a little moonlight to brighten and color the negative. It's a solo endeavor and the hardest shot I've done. This is attempt number eight out of nine, during three nights of photographing at Woodlawn Cemetery.
