Robert Kawika Sheer:
The Yoda Tree was named by the tree-ring scientists at the University of Arizona in honor of the oldest character in that galaxy far, far away (who knew scientists liked Star Wars?!).  The tree is located in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest in California.  An extra-large version of this artwork is on permanent display at the Bryant Bannister Tree-Ring Building on the UofA campus in Tucson, Arizona.
